Happy Thanksgiving! We will be closed on Black Friday, November 29 – extended holiday hours start in December!

A timeless vignette: changing out the marquee at the Rialto Theater, our neighbors across the street.

Moss + Mineral opened on November 2, 2013, and in less than a month, downtown Tacoma has become home. The urban atmosphere and creative edge of the Theater District is inspiring, with more and more small establishments popping up on and around Antique Row. We have the best neighbors, hardworking creatives building thoughtfully crafted galleries, pop-up shops, vintage stores, eateries, artisanal brews, and men’s & women’s boutiques. Hope you’ll find time to come meet them – it’s a beehive.

MM-3-620x350 2We’re also thankful for this review in Post Defiance, the online magazine, written by Christopher Jordan and photographed by PD Art Director, Kali Raisl. Honestly, when I read it, I thought for a moment I’d died and come back as Curtis Steiner, creator of the legendary Ballard emporium, Souvenir, and an amazing inspiration. M+M is far more low-key than Souvenir, still, it was a fantastic feeling…

Big thanks to all for supporting Tacoma’s historic district and local businesses! Best Thanksgiving Wishes!

New store hours:

Friday: noon – 5:00 (closed on November 29; open Fridays starting December 6)
