Give them your ear! Moon Age featuring Hunter Lea and Melinda Lea.
2015 was a huge year for Moon Age front man, Hunter Lea, and scintillating vocalist, Melinda Lea. Hunter earned his producer chops with a Grammy nomination for Best Historical Album: There’s a Dream I’ve Been Saving: Lee Hazlewood Industries 1966-1971 (Deluxe Edition). Shortly thereafter, Melinda gave birth to their first child, Landon. Now the couple are working hard on their first album, a spacey psychedelic journey with Melinda’s haunting vocalistic stylings leading the way. Listen to, “If the Sun Goes Away” and see if there’s ever been a more apt theme song for a James Bond film, an indie soundtrack to a decidedly glam apocalypse…
These Gig Harbor-based wunderkinds are playing FREE at the Evolution art exhibition opening at Seymour Conservatory in Wright Park, Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, 6-8pm! Click here for details. Thank you, Melinda and Hunter!
