Moss + Mineral is now MINKA
At long last – McMenamin’s is opening April 24 in Tacoma’s Theater District! McMenamin’s has taken the meltingly beautiful Elks Lodge overlooking Commencement Bay, and transformed it into a high temple of style, relaxation and fun. It will be a must-see when it opens – and we hope you’ll come visit MINKA just a block and a half away.
It’s been awhile since I’ve checked in here. About three years ago, the original Moss + Mineral engendered a new home, a new name (MINKA) and a big, 1,800′ space. My amazing creative partner, Paula Shields, and I are pleased to show all manner of art, curious objects, botanicals, and new and mid-century design. MINKA has changed things up, so come inside!
Located at 821 Pacific Ave., MINKA is colorful, artful and electric. We present select work by Northwest artists, with a focus on contemporary design and studio pottery and jewelry. MINKA also mounts rotating art exhibits by artists from the Northwest and beyond.
We’ve received some wonderful press recently including in Seattle Magazine and City Arts Magazine, and a shoutout in Sunset! We invite you to come see what’s happening at MINKA in Tacoma’s Theater District.
Sunday 12-5 and by appointment
