By creating abstract, stylized versions of plant tissue and even bodily organs, he challenges viewers’ ideals of beauty. Cobb earned his BFA at the School for American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has worked at Haystack Mountain School for Crafts, and at Pilchuck Glass School. He is the lead glassblower at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA. His work is represented by Vetri International and the William Traver Gallery.
